'LEADING IN ACTION THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA'...

My latest Hollins M.A.L.S.course - for Fall 2015 - is causing some anxiety and heartburn for this old dude.

I am to start a Twitter feed, and/or a blog, focusing on a serious, if narrow, topic of my interest, and work to gather followers and elicit responses, the numerology of which by the end of the semester will define satisfaction of course requirements. Oh the fear, oh the trepidation.

Enough, now to determine a topic, a focus, an interest.

Hmmm, recent readings of dualism (much gray in traditional human terms_mmb) and non-dualism (black or white, right or wrong...period_mmb) in religious (esp. Christian) thought, and, oh yeah, a similar exploration, some seemingly parallel discussions in the Geopolitics from Spring 2015's. Maybe some thoughts, some investigation, some reading comparing the Rohr, et al (religious) to the Tuathail, et al (geopolitical). An approach that may be more loving and less judgmental, more respectful and less critical, more open and less narrow...and, I can play with so many of the kind, loving, generous, graceful and non-argumentative behavior 'instructions' in the Biblical canon. Now, I must first screw up my courage and suppress my timid disquiet for lack of extensive study and knowledge on the subjects. Yes, as well as my softer southern inarticulateness.

Time for additional courage (where is that brandy?)...nope, prayer? Yep, and breath of life. __ MikeB
